Stop #4 on our East Coast Adventure: Palmyra Temple

We headed to Palmyra from Niagara Falls. Tim and I were able to do an endowment session that night while my mom and Spence watched Kate. The next morning Tim, Spence and I did Baptisms for the dead while my mom watched Kate. It was a really neat experience and there’s a very special spirit in the Palmyra Temple.

Here’s a (sort of) close up of the doors. The handles are just like ones at a church (which I thought was weird) but the glass was amazing and had replicas of trees in the Sacred Grove on them.

All of the windows in the Temple are frosted except one—it’s one of the windows in the back that faces the Sacred Grove. It’s in the main lobby and has an amazing view of the tops of the trees. This is a picture from the outside of the Temple looking at the windowIMG_9114
The Sacred Grove is behind Kate and Tim in this picture. That was our next stop on our East Coast adventure!

The Palmayra Temple is beautiful (but what temple isn't, I guess!) That is so nice of your mom to watch Kate so you guys could do a session and baptisms!
